FOREWORD

Viet Nam is proud of long-standing cultural tradition and charming landscapes.
Up to 2013, Viet Nam has 18 properties recognized as world heritage by UNESCO', including 2 natural heritage sites, 5 cultural heritage sites, 8 intangible heritage forms
and 3 documentary heritage items. In addition, the first global geological park of Viet
Nam has been also recognized as official member of Global Geo-parks Network (GGN).
The properties inscribed as world heritage are not only testaments to a beautiful
Viet Nam with diversified landscapes, plentiful cultural identity; long-standing history
but also destinations attracting a lot of tourists at home and abroad.
With the desire to introduce beauty as well as special values of the world heritage, World Heritage in Viet Nam, Vietnam Royal Tourism will be responsible for positioning and promoting the Vietnam as a compelling destination for international travelers, inspiring visitors with a refreshed understanding that there is no place in the world like the Vietnam with its limitless destinations and attractions
